SaveInternetRadio New legislation now mandates
New legislation now mandates that streaming internet broadcasters must pay a small percentage royalty per song they stream. While the idea of paying royaties isn't too bad, it's the rate structure that sucks: it's not just per song, it's also per listener, and it's retroactive since 1998. Do the math and you'll see that many of your favorite streaming radio stations will be going offline and never comming back, and a lot of independent music will be losing it's voice. Help to do something about it.
